And my current Number 1 personal favorite is this Muybridge motion study of a young man from 1884 catching and throwing a ball. I can’t take my eyes off his face. The sheer joy and freedom of the moment shine through his expression, and give him an enviable immortality. Here we are 134 years later experiencing that joy and freedom, and it is simply wonderful.
